Educational Institutions

We work closely with school boards to provide students with career-focused knowledge that will help prepare students for post-secondary education, and careers in music, theatre, and the creative arts. We understand that every student learns differently, so our workshops include both theory and practical components, giving students hands-on experience operating professional equipment. All of our workshops also include opportunities for Q&A, allowing students to receive personalized feedback from a professional in the field. Not only will students learn about the components and operation of A/V systems, but they will get a diverse exposure to some of the career paths available to them in the arts, specifically within the pro audio industry.

We currently offer three workshops geared towards secondary school students: Basic Recording, Basic Live Sound, and Careers in the Arts. Alternatively, talk to us about creating a custom workshop geared specifically towards your students’ or course needs.

All of our workshops are led by our Head Audio Technician and Owner, Travis Stoddart, who has been working professionally in the audio industry since 2015 and has worked with Juno Award-winning Canadian artists including Classified, Said the Whale, and The Dirty Nil.

Houses of Worship

Houses of worship often have complex A/V requirements that are sometimes challenging for volunteer A/V teams to navigate. We can help your congregation learn the basics of audio, video, and lighting to help keep external production costs low and ensure your services look and sound great.

Our workshops involve both theory and practical components, so your congregation members understand why your A/V system works the way it does, not just what buttons to push and when.

We can offer a wide variety of training solutions to work with your schedule, including single- and multi-day workshops, refresher seminars, and in-service training.
